Meet Fiona, the inventor of Napflat

Hello, I’m Fiona and my Napflat journey began in the weeks leading up to a family holiday, which included two long-haul flights with a 3- and 5-year old.

 

OK, I thought, how do we do this? Will anyone in the family, or the plane, get any rest? Will we be trapped underneath a sleeping child, daring not to move even for a full bladder? Will my kids settle at all?

 

I knew there had to be a simple solution. And then it came to me late one night. What if I fashioned a customised piece of fabric that would attach to the seat in front, extending the area for my kids to play and sleep?

 

And so, the idea for the Napflat was born…

Like all of the other reviews, the seller was really helpful with my last minute purchase, and the Napflats made such a difference for my toddlers. Without them, my little ones kept slipping off the seats, but with the Napflats they were more comfortable and the quality and duration of their sleep was obviously improved. I didn’t use the Velcro fastenings to hold the Napflats to the seats so there was a little slack over time, but next time I’ll use them. I’ll always travel using these from now on!
